Welcome to the new Information Services Assistant |

| We are pleased to welcome Maureen Nessling to the Gigateway Team who started with us on 24th October. Maureen will replace Theresa Stabb who recently completed an MA in Philosophy and has moved on to a finance job in the city. We wish Theresa all the best for the future and thank her for her valuable contribution to gigateway over the past year and a half. |

| Maureen comes to the role with almost 20 years of experience in finance and customer relations gained from working at The Royal Festival Hall in London. Maureen will be assisting the Gigateway Team in administrative duties and maintenance of the gigateway metadata. |

| Just a few days to go until AGI2005! |
| |
The Gigateway Team have been busy getting ready for AGI2005 which is to be held at Chelsea Village in London from 8th to 10th November. This is your chance to meet the Team on Stand 45 and to ask any questions relating to gigateway.

| The central theme of the conference and exhibition is "People, Places and Partnerships". There are two sessions from the conference which may be of specific interest to users of metadata and they are "C01: Foundations & Futures" and "A07: UK Benefiting from Government Information". |
