Gigateway Goals and Objectives for 2005-2006 |

| The Gigateway Services Operating Plan for 2005-2006 was agreed and signed between AGI and Ordnance Survey this week. The Operating Plan, which can be viewed by clicking here, sets out a series of challenging targets to be met by March 2006. |

New Gigateway Survey Available |
| |
| Your input for a new gigateway survey is needed to find out what our users think about the service and how we can improve things for you. |

| We are interested in hearing from as wide a cross section of the GI industry as possible, so whether you work in the utilities, health, telecommunications, crime and disorder, local government or are an individual user, etc, your comments and suggestions in the questionnaire are very welcome. |

| Gigateway User Forum Upgraded |
| |
| Improvements have been made to the Gigateway User Forum which was recently taken offline for one week while essential maintenance and upgrading was carried out. The changes will help people who have been unable to access the forums through their corporate firewall. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this disruption and hope to see more people adding their comments to the forum which can be accessed by clicking here. We welcome discussions on general GI topics, as well as specific comments on metadata and gigateway. |
