GIgateway Catalogue gets an overhaul
With the release of MetaGenie completed, the team are now working hard to improve the quality and quantity of information on GIgateway.

Work has started on a complete overhaul of the data on the GIgateway Catalogue node. This is used by smaller organisations that are unable to maintain their own node. Current data records are being updated and converted into a format suitable for loading into the MetaGenie editor. The records will then be sent to the data creators for checking and subsequent update.

In tandem with improvements to data quality, there are a number of brand-new nodes being created, and these will come on line in the next few months.
